In accordance with article 16 (2) of Directive 2000/60/EC, the Commission shall submit a proposal setting out a list of priority substances selected amongst those which present a significant risk to or via the aquatic environment and identified by the assessment procedures referred therein. The list shall also include priority hazardous substances. The present Decision provides for the adoption of the list aforesaid, as it appears in the Annex hereto. The latter shall be inserted in Directive 20
