The purposes of this Decision are to protect, efficiently exploit and develop national water resources; to prevent and minimize harms caused by water; to create a multi-sector water economy in line with the socialist-oriented market economy, etc. Major tasks and solutions to accomplish the above objectives are described in the Decree.
