This Decree creates the National Park of "Serra da Cutia", within the State of Rondônia. It consists of 5 articles establishing the aforesaid forest area (specifying its geographical coordinates) the purposes of which are the protection of wildlife biodiversity and Amazones ecosystem preservation, according to the scientific research programme. Control and management of this protected area shall be under the competence of the Institution for Environment 'IBAMA'.
