This Decree amends the geographical limits of the National Park of "Amazônia" within the Municipalities of Itaituba and Aveiro in the State of Pará, with the purposes of protecting the Biodiversity of this region, controlling the process of settlement and guaranteeing the sustentainable use of natural resources. It specifies the amendments concerning the limits of the aforementioned protected area.
