This Decree, composed of six articles, institutes the National Forest of Trairão, located within the Municipalities of Rurópolis, Trairão and Itaituba, in Pará State. The aim is to grant a sustainable and multiple uses of forest resources, the protection of water resources and biodiversity, as well as support to the development of methods for sustainable use of natural resources. The Decree delegates the forest’s administration competence to the Brazilian Institute for Environment and Renewable
