This Decree creates the National Park of "Descobrimento" within the Municipality of 'Prado', State of Bahia. It consists of 6 articles establishing the aforementioned protected area in order to protect and preserve its endemic wildlife, ecosystem and habitat. Geographical limits are specified in the text. Control and management shall be under the competence of the Brazilian Institution for Environment and Natural Renewable Resources - IBAMA.
