This Decree creates the National Park of "Restinga de Jurubatiba" within the State of Rio de Janeiro. It consists of 7 articles establishing the above-mentioned protected area in order to protect and preserve its regional and endemic wildlife, ecosystem and habitat. Geographical limits are specified in the text. Control and management shall be under the competence of the Brazilian Institution for Environment and Natural Renewable Resources - IBAMA.
