This Decree creates the Committee for the São Francisco River basin which shall be entitled for managing and performing water resource exploitation programme within the States of: Minas Gerais, Goiás, Bahia, Pernambuco, Alagoas, Sergipe and the Federal District. It consists of 5 articles establishing composition and competencies of this water basin institution.
