This Decree creates the protected area of "Aiuaba" within the State of Ceará. It consists of 6 articles establishing the aforesaid protected area in order to preserve in particular "caatinga" areas and carry out research programme on local ecosystems. Geographical limits of this protected area are specified in the text.
