Decree on the branding and registration of cattle (No. 1482 of 1998).

This Decree carries into effect obligations resulting from the EEA Agreement with the European Union, and implements Council Regulations no. 2628/97, no. 2629/97, no. 2630/97, and no. 494/98. The provisions concern the keeping of a databank on animals, a passport for each animal, branding and registration of each animal, and communicating of data by animal owners to the central animal register.
