The Decree of the Ministry of Environment, which is composed of 12 articles and three Annexes, defines three levels of protection of water supply resources areas. The Decree establishes provisions concerning arrangements and technical designs for such protection levels. Protection areas are determined for the protection of available amount, quality and sanitary faultless of water supply resources in relation to natural approach and in relation to the impact of human activities.
