This Decree-Law, composed of eight articles, introduces, in the national legal order the EC Directive No. 2004/41/CE of 21 April 2004 repealing previous legislation on foodstuff hygiene and defining rules applicable to the production and commercialization of food of animal origin. Accordingly, the Decree-Law repeals and amends all relevant national legislation.
