Decree-Law No. 221/2002 amending the Decree-Law No. 19/93 defining protected areas.

This Decree-Law modifies the Decree-Law No. 19/93 in order to allow a greater municipal participation in the management of protected areas according to the process of administrative decentralization. To this aim, the Decree-Law strengthens the competences of the Consultive Council, the body where local authorities are represented.
