This Decree-Law establishes a legal framework with national application, regarding the European Convention on Pet Animal Protection and a special regime for the detention of dangerous animals. This Law Decree is composed of 73 Articles, XI Chapters and VII Annexes and it reviews all aspects of animal wellbeing (hygiene, transportation means, feeding and nursing, chirurgical interventions).
