This Decree-Law establishes the legal regime for agricultural cooperatives. It consists of 4 Chapters divided as follows: Definition (Chap. 1); Multisector cooperative (Chap. 2); Other cooperatives (Chap. 3); Relationship of agricultural cooperatives with MADRP (Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries) (Chap. 4). It specifies that a cooperative is considered an agricultural cooperative when its aim is: agricultural, livestock or forestry production.
