Decree-Law No. 39/98 establishing the methods for calculation of fishing vessel tonnage.

This Decree-Law consists of 14 articles and 1 annex specifying methods and requirements for vessel (gross and net) tonnage calculation. The entitled authority for carrying out this calculation shall issue a vessel tonnage certificate. This Decree-Law does not apply for Navy and recreational vessels.
