This Decree-Law amends Decree-Law No. 115/96 on authorities responsible for carrying out inspection on vessels (approving EC Council Directive No. 97/58 of 26 September). It specifies certification and inspection procedures to be applied on vessels by competent services under the State Administration in order to authorize vessel navigation.
