Decree-Law No. 442/99 approving the Statute of the Oenological Region of 'Beira Interior'.

This Decree-Law approves the Statute of the Oenological Region of 'Beira Interior'. This Regulation consists of 12 articles defining the appellation of origin wine (DOC) «Beira Interior», which shall be used only for soft regional wines (VQPRD) and sparkling wine (VEQPRD), complying with the established quality standards, in particular for the origin of grapes and techniques of winemaking.
