This Decree-Law transposes into the national legal order the Council EC Directive 86/363/CEE on the fixing of maximum levels for some pesticide residues in and on foodstuffs of animal origin in the consolidated version of the Commission Directive No. 2003/60/CE. It therefore repeals the former Order No. 188/97 of 18 March 1997. The Decree-Law, composed of 15 articles and 2 annexes, establishes the products for which circulation is forbidden and the maximum levels of pesticide residues allowed. I
