Decree-Law No. 6/2006 amending Law No. 1/2000 approving the Mining Act.

This Decree-Law amends the taxation for mineral exploitation within the National territory related to the Mining Act, approved by Law No. 1/2000. It establishes new annual taxes, taking into consideration the different category of mining activity and their respective definition, according to the mining community legislation in the framework of West African Economic and Monetary Union countries (UEMOA).
