This Decree sets out guidelines and principles for the arrangement and management of the register of equines, with the purpose of ensuring public health and animal health. Equines shall be identified according to the marking requirements prescribed by articles 3 to 6. Establishments where equines are bred shall be registered pursuant to article 7. Further provisions concern the importation and exportation of equine species as well as certain information duties for holders of slaughterhouses.
