This Decree establishes special measures to be applied within the national territory to combat chestnut Dryocosmus kuriphilus Yasumatsu. The Regional Phytosanitary Services, in conjunction with the National Forest Corps, shall carry out annual surveys and inspections and shall transmit all the relevant information to the Central Phytosanitary Service. Particular preventive measures shall be applied with respect to chestnut propagation material (art. 8).
