The Decree provides for the technical norms and guidelines applied to the proper environmental management of mining and energy production and exploitation sites, enacting mandatory Environmental Impact Analysis (EIA), Environmental Management Efforts (UKL) and Environmental Monitoring Efforts (UPL); furthermore an environmental study and phase plan shall be prepared before authorizing either mining o energy exploitation sites, protected areas destined to these facilities shall be checked out and
