The present Decree is issued in the framework of the national policy of economic reform and in order to increase competitiveness and efficiency of use of wood taking into account needs of forest conservation. It regulates the exportation of various kinds of rattan sepcified in article 1. It makes provision for licences, royalties, inspection by forestry officials, export documents, and reporting by the Director General of Forest Business Operations to the Minister of Forestry and Plantations.
