Decree of the Minister of Forestry and Plantations No. 538/Kpts-II/1999 re permit to utilize timber.

The Decree provides for the permission of utilizing timber (IPK), including the felling of trees in forest areas. Applicants shall apply for IPK and, when granted, they shall pay the guarantees accordingly to the target production agreed upon at application. Applicants shall be Forestry State or Provincial State Enterprises, private societies and Cooperatives. The IPK covers the period of one year and can be renewed only once.
