The Decree provides for the management of seeds in the forest sector in order to guarantee their quality, their sources, and their utilization. Seeds shall be cultivated in the forest or in allocated land plots, supervised by appointed functionaries and they shall include also saplings. The seeds, both domestically produced and imported, shall comply with standards in terms of quality, they shall be certificated and when packaged shall be properly labelled.
