This Decree implements in Finland Council Directive 97/4/EC which amends Directive 79/112/EC on the approximation of laws of the member states relating to the labelling, presentation and advertising of foodstuffs for sale to the ultimate customer. It contains rules relative to the naming of food and ingredients including groups of added substances and to indication of quantities of certain ingredients. The Schedule contains group names such as 'vegetable oil', 'sugar','milk proteins'. etc.
