Decree No. 1056 of 2000 relative to charges for fisheries and marine research and development.

Levies obtained from the export value of fish and fish products shall be used as funds for the strengthening and development of the fisheries industries and research and development of ecological applications. A Council for the financing of research shall be established within the Department of Fisheries. The Council shall carry out tasks specified in Act No. 68 of 2000. The rates of levy shall be calculated on the Free on Board value of fish and fish products. (10 sections)
