This Decree applies to food, food additives, processed and raw food, food ingredients specified in the Law No. XC of 1995 on foodstuffs. Special attention is paid for infant food standards. Annex 2 provides the list of food which must be analysed with respect to radioactivity. The Decree contains also rules to be adopted in case of nuclear disaster which may contaminate food.
