This Decree shall apply to the treatment of waste produced by titanium-dioxide production facilities and to the protection of the environment from harmful impacts deriving from such production. The emission of pollutants can’t exceed the limit values shown in Annex 1. According to Article 3 the introduction in water bodies of solid waste and certain listed chemical substances originating from the production of titanium-dioxide is prohibited.
