Decree No. 1254 of 2007 concerning animal by-products that are not intended for human consumption.

This Decree implements for Norway Community legislation in the framework of the EEA Agreement on animal health rules in relation with the placing on the market of animal non-edible by-products of animal origin. Some provisions concern the disposal of animal carcases and dead bees and the coming into contact of animal by-products with foodstuffs during transportation. The competent authority for this Decree shall be the Food Safety Agency.
