The scope of this Decree is to prevent diseases affecting animals: 1) in relation with delivery of living animals or products from other member countries of the European Community in Finland and delivery of animals and products of Finland to one of these countries; 2) in relation with exportation from Finland of animals or products to countries other than member countries of the European Community (art. 1).
