This Decree applies to vessels flying the flag of one of the member states of the European Union with a total length over 24 metres fishing in the Norwegian economic zone and the fishery zone of Jan Mayen. These vessels shall have a satellite tracking system installed on board in accordance with sections 2 and 3. Section 4 prohibits manipulation of satellite tracking equipment.
