This Decree states that the national ecological policy shall be aimed at the total environmental system ensuring optimal parameters of human living environment. The priority shall be to ensure sustainable development. The scope of the Program shall be to ensure qualitative state of environment, introduction of efficient nature management methods, and promotion of ecological science and ecological education with a view of achievement of sustainable development.
