This Decree applies to farming of fish in saltwater for purposes of human consumption in accordance with Act No. 68 of 1985. Permits for the farming of salmon and sea trout can be given to enterprise or single persons. A change in the ownership structure of enterprises running the fish farming operations shall be communicated to the Directorate of Fisheries (sect. 3).
