Decree No. 1628 of 2000 to regulate participation and termination of fishing for sea sprat in the EU-zone.

Section 1 requires vessels to apply for participation before 27 December 1999. It also provides for the drawing of lots. Section 2 provides for the allocation of catches quotas. Fishing shall be carried out in accordance with drawing lists and a number of vessels to be fixed by the Directorate of Fisheries. Section 4 concerns the use of fish quotas. The Director of Fisheries may decree a stop on fisheries when the total quota of Norway has been fished. (5 sections)
