Decree No. 1797 of 2003 relative to compulsory navigation conduct in territorial waters.

This Decree applies to ships carrying polluting cargo as specified in MARPOL 73/78 Annex 1, 2 and 3, and ships having a bunker oil capacity of more than 300 cubic meters. It applies in the geographical areas described in Schedule 1. It does not apply to fishing vessels. The Decree describes navigation lanes and specific navigation rules. The Coast Directory may exempt ships from the rules.
