The Regulation on the prophylaxis of foot-and mouth disease consists of 8 sections dealing with the following matters: 1) general provisions (sect. 1); 2) preventive arrangements against the introduction of FMD on the national territory (sect. 2); 3) immediate arrangement in case of exposure of FMD or in case of suspicion of the outbreak of FMD (sect. 3); 4) methods of liquidation of the outbreak of FMD (sect. 4); 5) arrangements in the adverse area (sect. 5); 6) arrangements in the area threate
