This Decree implements in the Netherlands provisions of the Kyoto Protocol as received in the European Union by Community legislation. The Decree provides for approval of environmentally friendly projects in the sense of Article 12 of the Protocol by the Minister responsible for the environment. The Decree, among other things, lists criteria for approval.
