This Decree applies to fishing north of the 35th parallel and west of a line defined in section 1 in the area known as the NAFO area (sec 1). Section 1 gives also a definition of regulatory areas. Vessels which wish to participate in fishing shall register with the Director of Fisheries. The registration is valid for a specific fish species and a specified calendar year (sect. 2).
