This Decree establishes food safety requirements (meat and meat-based products) that must be complied with in case of use of drugs for productive animals and establishes maximum allowable residue limits of drugs in foodstuffs of animal origin destined for human nutrition. Maximum residue limits of drugs are established in milligram and micrograms by the State Veterinary Service.
