Apart from hygiene requirements for the production and offering of sale, excluding retail sale, of fresh poultry meat, this Decree specifies hygiene requirements for the storage and transportation of such meat and provides for the control of hygienic conditions. "Poultry meat" is defined in section 2 as all parts of farmed birds fit for human consumption. Section 3 contains general conditions for the placing on he market of poultry meat.
