This Decree establishes the modalities of calculation of water and sewerage charges and the modalities of application of tariffs. The mechanism of calculation and application of water charges shall be based on the following principles: (a) sustainable water supply and discharge of effluent waste water; (b) to cover the costs of water supply and waste water treatment; and (c) to cover the costs of environmental protection arrangements.
