Decree No. 281 of 2001 to amend the Decree containing rules relative to identification and registration of animals.

This Decree makes amendments to the principal Decree of 1997 so as to provide for the implementation of the Regulation (EEC) No. 1760/2000 of the Council and the European Parliament establishing a system for the identification and registration of animals and regarding the labelling of beef and beef products, and which replaces Council Regulation 820/97. It also implements a Commission Decision (No. 68/2000) on the identification of horses.
