Decree No. 286 of 2005 prohibiting the placing on the market of feed with a increased cadmium content.

This Decree lists in the Schedule feeding stuffs that may not be placed on the market or used in the production of feed mixtures. Exempted from this prohibition are feeding products that are documented to observe maximum limits for cadmium contents in accordance with Decree No. 1290 of 2002. Feeding stuffs that contain more cadmium than permitted shall be destroyed in accordance with Decree No. 930 of 2004. The regional office of the Food Safety Agency may grant exemptions from the requirements
