Decree No. 327 of 1999 to amend Decree containing rules relative to new foodstuffs and new food ingredients made under the Commodities Act.

This Decree amends the principal Decree so as to include also in its application sphere Council Regulation (EC) No 1139/98 of 26 May 1998 concerning the compulsory indication of the labelling of certain foodstuffs produced from genetically modified organisms of particulars other than those provided for in Directive 79/112/EC. It prohibits acting contrary to article 2 of that Regulation. article 2 contains specific labelling requirements.
