This Decree, composed of three articles and one Annex, approves the implementing Regulation of Law No. 9.921 on solid waste management. The aim is to grant the most appropriate measure for solid waste minimization, reutilization, recycling and treatment. Any waste management activity shall be licensed by the State Foundation for Environmental Protection (FEMAP).
