Decree No. 40 laying down rules governing the use of animal proteins in feedingstuffs.

With a view to ensuring the safety of food products, this Decree prohibits feeding animals with products containing processed animal proteins, with the exceptions specified in article 2. Processed animal proteins are defined under article 1. Inspections shall be carried out, as prescribed by article 3, at all stages of marketing. Article 4 sets out the administrative penalties to be applied in case of contravention.
