This Decree has been adopted in implementation of Directive 95/21/EC. Article 2 determines the seagoing vessels and equipment to which the present provisions shall apply. Inspections shall be carried out by inspectors appointed by the Ministry of Transports and Navigation. The latter shall monitor and coordinate inspection at national ports as well as the analysis of data relating to inspections that have been carried out (art. 3).
