The scope of this Decree shall be to ensure food safety in the process of packaging of foodstuffs. Thus it establishes maximum allowable limits of emissions of chemical substances by packaging materials used for packaging of foodstuffs. This Decree specifies that the manufacturers of packaging materials shall specify whether it is for once-only use or for multiple uses specify denomination and trademark (brand, type) or raw materials used for the manufacturing of packaging materials.
